At the Santa Cruz Cancer Benefit Group we understand that bringing the community together is an excellent way to raise awareness, consciousness and necessary funds to keep important services available to our friends, families and community members suffering from cancer. We also understand that we can enjoy one another’s company while we do it. Please join us at one or all of our annual events and experience the joy of making an important contribution to our Santa Cruz community.
All proceeds benefit the following Santa Cruz County organizations:
Hospice of Santa Cruz County, Jacob’s Heart Children’s Cancer Support Services, Katz Center Resource Center, UCSC Cancer Research and WomenCARE.

Held at beautiful Aptos Village Park, Grazing on the Green is a fabulous day of fine wine, excellent food and live music! Spend the afternoon sampling the delicious flavors from dozens of the finest local restaurants and local wineries. Also, Santa Cruz Cancer Benefit Group is honored to welcome you to meet and greet our Beneficiaries who are our special guests at the event. This year will mark our 7th Annual event.Ticket prices includes all food and wine tastings all day. Plus a wine glass.

Free screening by area Dermatologist will be held Long Board Union Surf Contest Steamers Lane, West Cliff Drive
Santa Cruz Cancer Benefit Group in partnership with Dr. James Beckett and his team of Santa Cruz County based volunteer dermatologists are providing free skin screenings and treatment information at outdoor events throughout the county. The 10’x20’ pavilion within which the doctors perform the screenings was christened the Skye Tent to honor the memory of local surfer and UCSC student Skye Ksander whose courageous battle with metastatic melanoma provided inspiration to many.

Spring Forward Against Cancer Tennis Tournament
Imperial Courts
As the original Santa Cruz Cancer Benefit Group “event” it was first played in 1995. This exceptional gathering of tennis enthusiasts has grown and has now been played at the Imperial Tennis Courts since 2004 and offers players, families and friends a fun day of tennis followed by a delicious BBQ, with all proceeds donated to our beneficiaries.
